Privacy Policy and Information

According to Article 5 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, explicit consent must be obtained from an individual before processing their personal data. Since personal data is processed through cookies, it is mandatory to obtain explicit consent before engaging in data processing activities.

For explicit consent to be valid, the following three conditions must be met:

  1. Specificity to a particular subject: Consent obtained for the use of all personal data in all fields is not valid. The data that will be used, the purpose of its use, the method of use, and the duration of use must be explicitly stated in a clear and understandable language.
  2. Based on information: The methods and risks associated with data processing must be explained in a language that the data subject can understand. The risks and durations associated with the consent provided must also be stated.
  3. Free will: The data controller must not coerce, deceive, or threaten the individual to obtain their explicit consent. Options to reject non-essential cookies must be presented to website visitors after classifying the cookies used.

In addition, under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which came into effect in the European Union in May 2016, obtaining cookie consent and providing notification are legal requirements if your organization is based in an EU country or if you have visitors to your website from the EU. If your website has an English version and you sell products or services abroad, you are also required to include a cookie policy and notification per the regulations.

Processing personal data in a manner not compliant with the KVKK and GDPR can result in significant financial penalties. Furthermore, considering the potential for complaints regarding a personal data processing policy deemed inappropriate by your website visitors, the risks are substantial. For these reasons, obtaining cookie consent in compliance with the aforementioned conditions is essential.

At KALE CARE CHEMICALS (Tax Identification Number: 4910645998) (referred to as “Kale Care Chemicals” or “the Company”), we prioritize the processing and protection of the personal data of visitors to www.kalecare.com (“the Site”) in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and its secondary regulations (“Personal Data Protection Legislation”), and we show maximum sensitivity within the scope of information security.
