It is gentle preservation both of leave-on and rinse-off personal care products, with strong, broad-spectrum effectiveness against bacteria, yeast and mold. This blend is compliant with many natural certification requirements; Sodium Benzoate and Sodium Salicylate are among the few preservatives allowed by ECOCERT, BDIH, the Soil Association, NATRUE and COSMOS.
